I Misteri, 13 “quadri viventi” portati a spalla su “ingegni” costruiti dal campobassano Paolo Saverio Di Zinno, sfilano dal 1748 in una suggestiva processione tra le strade di Campobasso in occasione della festività del Corpus Domini. Il passo cadenzato dei portatori, facendo oscillare la struttura in ferro, crea l’illusoria sensazione di vedere angeli, diavoli, madonne e santi, volare da terra.
Programma:
ore 08.00 Santa messa nel piazzale del Museo(Via Trento);
ore 09.00 inizio vestizione dei Misteri;
ore 10.00 Processione dei Misteri per il centro storico e le principali vie della città;
ore 12.30 Benedizione dei Misteri dal Palazzo di città da parte del Vescovo(palazzo San Giorgio -residenza municipale);
ore 12.45 rientro dei Misteri al Museo.
